On Sunday 14th of August 2016, popular Lagos businessman of great repute and aviation Guru, Otunba Peter Obafemi gathered who is who in Lagos to celebrate his mother Madam Patience Olutayo Obafemi in a superlative way as she clocked 90. The event which kicked off at 10am at the family church CAC AYONIO along Sanya bus-stop Oshodi-Apapa Expressway. Mama who is one of the top church elders at the church and member of Egbe Sarah group was full of thanks to see the high turnout of guests who came to share in her joy. Dressed in Purple hand cut Aso-oke with her children Bosede Obafemi, Shina Obafemi, Dr Peter Obafemi, Seyi Aikulola and Iyabode Adeyemi as they danced out to thank God for his faithfulness in Mama`s Life.

The event was also the 43rd thanksgiving Service of Egbe Daniel of CAC AYONIO till few minutes past 1pm while the large guest moved in convey in their exotic automobile to the venue of the grand reception. The silver and purple reception which took place at Eagle square event centre on Adeniran Ogunsanya had dignitaries from all walks of Life. The event also parades many businessmen of great repute and those who matter in Lagos social scene. In fact many who knows what Otunba Peter Obafemi stand for were not surprised seeing the calibre of people who came to show Love to him at lit his mother`s 90th birthday. Many Ekiti politicians were alsdo not left out as they all came to show love to this grass root politician. Many House of Representative members also came. Among them was Hon Femi Gbajabimila and Hon(Dr)Emeka Nwosu.

Popular Nollywood Stars Olaiya Igwe, Bukky Ogunote, Yomi King(Opebe), and Ekiti on-air personality Mary Omotoso promptly announced the arrival of guests as they came in. They made sure all the guests had swell time at the party as they cracked jokes that lit up the event while it lasted. Among other Nollywood stars that came for the event was Veteran Nollywood star, Dele Odule, Peju Ogunmola, Ibadan TAMPAN Chairman, Rose Odika, Funke Adesiyan to mention few.

Ogun Popular Oba, Oba Adegboyega Adegeye was also in attendance to show love to his friend, Otunba Fiwajowa, Peter Obafemi. They have been friends for over 40years. He was one of the early callers at the event and he brought many other top dignitaries to the event.

The event also had Popular Juju Maestro, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey on the band stand. He was dishing out many of his old classics to the admiration of all. So also is Amona crooner, Pastor Ayewa who was a guest artist also sang his popular demand for Mama Patience while she danced till the end of the event.

Kudos should be given to Popular Lagos society woman and CEO  of  Shoggs, Joke Sogunro. She was up and doing while the event started. She grew up in Lagos over 38years ago with Otunba Peter Obafemi. So also was Funmi Fagbuyi, the younger sister of Peter Obafemi and his new found love Thelma.
